The lines of symmetry i used were horizontal

Based on the color wheel they were complementary colors. I used greens yellow and beige, and also brown.
- Are there parts of your template that show movement? If so, how?
N/A
- How did you use color? (there were 5 ways from your notes that are possibilities)
I used it to decorate. I made a tiki kind of theme. and i saw the flower and added more yellow to the color.
- Is there a use of texture? Explain.
Yes i smudged the parrot into my background.
- How did you use balance? (whitespace vs filled space; textures vs flat colors; text vs images)
I used a flat color as my background. the bamboo for example and then the text was easier to read.
- How is unity used used in your template?
It is all based around a general theme that i had being tripical and it turned out ok.

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice background Sarah! LOVE the peacock! Very very cool. Brings some sort of balance to your name area, except there is very little connection with the rest of the template. I like the bamboo in the background. It gave the template a nice texture to it. I am not a huge fan of the suitcase, but that is the only problem I have with your layout. Very well done little one!

AND i also was going to put that EXACT SAME suitcase on mine! i like your use of line. they're all straight. i like your use of color. they're vibrant and eye opening. the peacock is awesome!!! do you like bamboo because you're a jungle woman??
ReplyDeleteI like your blog! Its relly cute. I like the use of texture in the background... the bamboo makes it look really neat! And the use of complementary colors was a really good idea! I like the unity in it! The onnly thing i wouls change is the color of the text so you can see it better!

Girl this template is so epic! I like how you added a road map & blended it with travel areas! Very creative! The retro sunglasses are so RAD! I wouldn't change one dang thing! Good job :)
